United Cooperative Assurance CEO resigns

United Cooperative Assurance Co. said its board of directors has accepted the resignation of CEO Machaal Afif Karam, with effect from Nov. 1, Argaam reported.

Karam resigned for personal reasons, according to the Oct. 11 report.

The insurance company will name a new CEO after completing regulatory paperwork, Argaam noted.
