Solarcentury and development partner OXYGN received an order to build, operate and manage three solar projects with a total combined capacity of 57 MW in France.
Solarcentury won the projects in France's latest solar auction, and mark the company's first development projects in the country, according to a March 18 news release.
The solar facilities include the 10-MW Digue de Port-Saint-Louis, 17-MW Lourches and 30-MW Marigny solar project, according to a March 18 release. Solarcentury said it raised about €1.1 million for the Lourches project and €700,000 million for the Digue de Port-Saint-Louis project through local community investment.
Construction on the first site will begin in early 2020 and the projects are forecast to produce 68 GWh annually.
