Olympic Oil Industries Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was 6.12 Indian rupees per share, a gain of 76.3% from 3.47 rupees per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 17.5 million rupees, a gain of 76.4% from 9.9 million rupees in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 0.4% from 0.2% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 4.9% year over year to 4.66 billion rupees from 4.45 billion rupees, and total operating expenses climbed year over year to 4.62 billion rupees from 4.42 billion rupees.
Reported net income rose 93.4% year over year to 21.5 million rupees, or 7.52 rupees per share, from 11.1 million rupees, or 3.89 rupees per share.
As of Feb. 12, US$1 was equivalent to 62.20 Indian rupees.
