Attica Bank transfers Thea Artemis shares to Aldridge

Attica Bank SA transferred 80% of the shares of Thea Artemis SA to Aldridge EDC Specialty Finance, as part of a prior deal with Luxembourg-based special-purpose vehicle Artemis Securitisation SA.

Artemis Finance Sarl, a firm affiliated with Aldridge, paid €80,000 for the transfer.

Earlier in July, Attica Bank securitized and transferred a portfolio of approximately €1.33 billion in defaulted loans to Artemis Securitisation.

The Greek lender has also transferred the class B notes derived from the securitization for an amount of €70 million. It can book a €70 million gain after the transaction is complete.
