Taikang LifeInsurance Co. Ltd. on April 29 reported a 54.3% year-over-yearincrease in net profit for 2015.

The insurer's consolidated net profit attributable to equityholders for 2015 jumped to 10.60 billion yuan from 6.87 billion yuan a yearearlier.

Gross written premiums earned for 2015 increased to 83.51billion yuan from 69.13 billion yuan in 2014, while net premiums climbed to82.80 billion yuan from 67.34 billion yuan in the previous year.

Investment income increased to 48.60 billion yuan from 28.19billion yuan.

Total revenues totaled 132.31 billion yuan in 2015, up from98.40 billion yuan in 2014.
