IndianaUniversity Health Plans Inc. is exiting Indiana's Affordable CareAct marketplace in 2017, ModernHealthcare reported.
The company will continue to sell individual off-exchangeplans, but the roughly 27,000 people that purchased the company's plans throughthe state's exchange will have to look for alternative coverage, according tothe report.
Indiana University Health Plans President James Parkerreportedly said the move was necessary to adapt to new market dynamics andpotential federal responses to the withdrawal of several insurers from themarketplace.
