Mortgage originator and servicer Home Point Financial Corp. named Phil Shoemaker chief business officer.

As chief business officer, Shoemaker is in charge of third party originations, customer retention and technology at Home Point Financial.

Shoemaker most recently worked at Caliber Home Loans Inc., where he served as an executive vice president and COO for production. He has more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry.
