Singaporean developer Hiap Hoe Ltd. is negotiating an over A$100 million acquisition of BGC Group's adjoining commercial properties in Perth, Australia, The Australian reported.
At the center of the discussion are the 224-room Aloft Perth hotel and the leased 25 Rowe office complex in the city, which are marketed together with the help of JLL Hotels & Hospitality, according to the publication.
A BGC Group spokeswoman was cited in the Oct. 17 report as saying that the company would not comment on the ongoing talks regarding the transaction and it would proceed with the sale process "in a considered and informed way." The marketing agents for the properties also declined to comment on the report, the paper added.
