Kroll affirms ratings of Bank of New York Mellon Corp., unit

Kroll Bond Rating Agency affirmed several ratings of andunit Bank of New York Mellon.

Affirmed were the company's senior unsecured debt rating of A+and short-term debt rating of K1, and the unit's deposit and senior unsecured debtratings of AA and short-term debt and deposit ratings of K1+.

The outlook on all long-term ratings is stable.

The company's "strong global franchise, importance to thetri-party repo market, relatively conservative balance sheet, and strong liquidityprofile" support the ratings, according to Kroll.
