Gfoot fiscal Q3 profit falls YOY

Gfoot Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Nov. 30, 2014, came to ¥9.41 per share, a decline of 54.6% from ¥20.75 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥784.4 million, a decrease of 9.3% from ¥864.4 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 3.2% from 3.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed year over year to ¥24.69 billion from ¥24.11 billion, and total operating expenses climbed on an annual basis to ¥23.43 billion from ¥22.72 billion.

Reported net income grew on an annual basis to ¥707.0 million, or ¥8.49 per share, from ¥675.0 million, or ¥16.20 per share.
