Yorktown Energy Partners XII LP raised about $239.8 million in capital commitments from 84 investors.

The venture capital fund is managed by Yorktown Partners LLC, an energy-focused private equity investor that invests in all ranges of energy companies including oil and gas production, pipeline construction, oil field services and energy-specific manufacturing, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence data.
