West Point, Va.-based Citizens and Farmers Bank, a unit of , hired WilliamKrebs, Stephanie Johnson and Lora Mintz to form a new commercial banking team inCharlottesville, Va.

Krebs will serve as the bank's Charlottesville area regionalpresident. He has been a commercial banker in the Charlottesville area for thepast 20 years, most recently serving as city executive and senior vice presidentfor Lancaster, Pa.-based FultonBank NA, a subsidiary of Fulton Financial Corp.

Johnson joins Citizens and Farmers Bank's Charlottesvillecommercial banking team as portfolio manager and junior lender, while Mintzwill serve as commercial support specialist. Johnson, who most recently servedas a portfolio manager for Fulton Bank, worked with Krebs in Charlottesville.Mintz, also from Fulton Bank, has been a commercial support specialist workingwith Krebs for the past 10 years, according to a news release.

Citizens and Farmers Bank's new commercial banking team willgrow the bank's commercial and small business loan portfolios, as well as beginthe process of expanding a retail presence in the Charlottesville market.
