Australia's Teaminvest Private Group Ltd. appointed Malcolm Jones an independent nonexecutive director and chairman of the company's board.

The private equity firm said Dec. 13 that Jones' appointment is effective immediately. He previously served as CEO of Zurich Financial Services Australia Ltd., the National Roads and Motorists' Association and the State Government Insurance Commission of South Australia, among other executive roles at other companies.
