Former SunHung Kai Properties Ltd. co-Chairman Thomas Kwok Ping-kwong, whowas convicted ofbribery charges in 2014, posted a HK$10 million bail, The (Hong Kong) Standard reported.
The publication reported that Kwok, former companyexecutives Thomas Chan Kui-yuen and Francis Kwan Hung-sang, as well as the city'sformer No. 2 official, Rafael Hui, were all granted permission to appeal their convictions.
The three Sun Hung Kai executives applied for bail,but only Kwok got approval. Hui, on the other hand, did not apply for bail.
Kwok and Kwan are serving five years, Chan is servingsix and Hui was sentenced to 7.5 years in prison.
Kwok is scheduled to appear before the Hong Kong Courtof Final Appeal on May 9, 2017.
