Anrakutei Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 was ¥19.58 per share, a decline of 42.7% from ¥34.18 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥41.9 million, a decline of 43.7% from ¥74.4 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin declined to 0.9% from 1.6% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue came to ¥4.47 billion, compared with ¥4.52 billion in the year-earlier period, and total operating expenses decreased from the prior-year period to ¥4.29 billion from ¥4.38 billion.
Reported net income decreased 43.5% year over year to ¥21.0 million, or ¥9.82 per share, from ¥37.2 million, or ¥17.09 per share.
