William Spears Jr., Bryan Dear, John Smith and John Barlow Spear have joined the board of Alamosa, Colo.-based First Southwest Bank.

?Spears owns the radio stations KWUF, KZBR and KALQ/KGIW; ?Dear founded The Payroll Department. Smith's work history includes jobs at Texas Instruments, American Microsystems and Simpletech; he is now president of the board of Tucson Botanical Gardens. And Spear is a partner at Maynes Bradford Shipps & Sheftel, of which First Southwest is a client.
