DTE EnergyCo. and subsidiary DTE Electric Co. filed an automatic shelf registrationstatement April 1 for the periodic sale of securities.

The filing covers the sale of an unspecified number of DTEEnergy common stock in addition to debt securities for both companies. Saleproceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, the filing said.
