German medical device company Paul Hartmann names CEO

Paul Hartmann AG named Britta Fuenfstueck as CEO and chair of its management board.

Fuenfstueck will assume the chair position Nov. 1 and will begin serving as CEO on Jan. 1, 2019.

Fuenfstueck is succeeding Andreas Joehle who is stepping down due to personal reasons. Joehle has been the company's CEO since July 2013.

Fuenfstueck was previously with specialty chemicals company Clariant AG as a member of the executive committee. At Clariant, Fuenfstueck was responsible for the company's plastics and coatings business, along with several corporate functions.

Germany-based Paul Hartmann manufactures medical and hygiene products.
