China Shenhua Energy Co. Ltd. appointed Xu Shancheng as CFO for an initial three-year term, according to a Dec. 28 release.

The company noted that Xu previously acted as secretary and deputy officer of the financial property department of China Energy Investment Group Corp. Ltd.

China Shenhua reported the resignation of two senior vice presidents, Li Dong and Wang Jinli, in October.
