Pan American Silver Corp. on Jan. 31 said its ticker on the Toronto Stock Exchange will be changed to PAAS from PAA, effective Feb. 1, as the bourse started allowing companies to use four-letter trading symbols.

The ticker change will not entail any other transaction and will align the company's Canadian ticker with its U.S. ticker on NASDAQ, which is also PAAS.
