Concurrent Computer fiscal Q2 loss narrows YOY

CCUR Holdings Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015, came to a loss of 2 cents per share, compared with a loss of 4 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of $205,000, compared with a loss of $405,630 in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to negative 1.4% from negative 2.5% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined 6.9% year over year to $14.9 million from $16.0 million, and total operating expenses fell 7.9% year over year to $15.3 million from $16.6 million.

Reported net income totaled a loss of $274,840, or a loss of 3 cents per share, compared to a loss of $545,280, or a loss of 6 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
