Fiera Capital Corp. has completed its acquisition of Charlemagne Capital Ltd., an independent asset manager that specializes in frontier and emerging market asset classes.

Fiera Capital said the acquisition will add $2 billion to its assets under management and provide it with a foothold in the European market.

The integration of the two companies will be carried out over the coming months, with a focus on maximizing cross-selling opportunities and diversification of Fiera Capital's product offerings in the U.S. and Canada.
