Aurora, Ill.-based Old Second Bancorp Inc. filed a shelf registration statement covering the sale of $150 million of several of its securities from time to time.

The filing covers the sale of common stock, preferred stock, debt securities, warrants, depositary shares, subscription rights, stock purchase contracts, stock purchase units, and units.

Net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
