Canada's ATN acquires Indian soccer broadcast rights

Asian Television Network International Ltd. has acquired rights for the fifth season of Indian Super League soccer tournament.

The Hero Indian Super League will be held in India from September 2018 to March 2019.

The Canada-based South Asian broadcaster will bring live coverage of the sports event to five of its channels, namely CBN, ATN Cricket Plus, ATN Life, ATN Punjabi Plus and ATN Bangla, according to Shan Chandrasekar, president and CEO of Asian Television Network, or ATN.

ATN's current programming includes the Afghanistan Premiere League and the upcoming cricket series from Australia and New Zealand.
