Cable One Inc.'s board of directors appointed president and COO Julie Laulis to the role of CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2017, the company said Dec. 12.

Laulis will remain Cable One president, and was also elected as a director of the company during her new appointment as CEO.

Tom Might, who was CEO since 1994, will serve as executive chairman.
