Ferrellgas Partners LP acquired two propane retailers in central and eastern Tennessee, Lindsey Propane and Sevier County Propane.

The partnership did not disclose financial details of the deal. Lindsey Propane is a local provider in Williamsport, Tenn., operating in nine middle Tennessee counties for over 20 years. Sevier County Propane has been serving customers in Sevier, Knox and Jefferson counties for over 25 years.

"Bringing these companies on board allows us to enhance our operating efficiencies and more effectively serve new and existing customers in mid and east Tennessee," said Jim Ferrell, president and interim CEO of Ferrellgas, in an Aug. 7 news release.
