Wall Street moves: Piper Jaffray FIG analysts moving to Stephens

S&P Global Market Intelligence presents a weekly rundown of selected executive management changes among the major Wall Street investment banks and other notable moves. The changes are listed by announcement date in reverse chronological order.

Aug. 28

Piper Jaffray Cos. analysts Matthew Kelley, Matthew Breese and Brody Preston have left the investment bank and are set to join Stephens Inc., four sources familiar with the matter told S&P Global Market Intelligence.

Kelley initially held an equity research analyst role before being named to an equities sales position, while Breese covered Northeast banks for Piper Jaffray. Preston recently initiated coverage on Wilmington, Del.-based WSFS Financial Corp. and Bethesda, Md.-based Eagle Bancorp Inc.

Aug. 26

Houlihan Lokey Inc. named Rob Freiman and Kegan Greene as directors in its financial technology investment banking team, according to a company spokesperson.

Freiman and Greene were most recently with GCA Advisors LLC. Greene led the insurance technology team, while Freiman was primarily involved in payments and banking technology.

Aug. 23

Compass Point Research & Trading LLC named Marshall Senk and Michael Del Grosso as analysts in its financial technology and software sectors.

Senk joined the company in May and was previously with Rosenblatt Securities Inc., where he covered software companies. Del Grosso, who joined in July, most recently covered payments companies at Jefferies Financial Group Inc. and he will have the same coverage at Compass Point.

Rosenblatt Securities hired Yun Kim as a software analyst after Senk left.
