Simmons First to buy Oklahoma-based Southwest Bancorp in $564M deal

Pine Bluff, Ark.-based Simmons First National Corp. has agreed to acquire Stillwater, Okla.-based Southwest Bancorp Inc. in a cash-and-stock deal valued at $564.4 million.

Under the agreement, each outstanding common share of Southwest will be converted into the right to receive 0.3903 of a share of Simmons' common stock and $5.11 in cash.
