Moorefield, W.Va.-based Summit Financial Group Inc. on Jan. 1 completed its acquisition of West Union, W.Va.-based Cornerstone Financial Services Inc. and unit Cornerstone Bank Inc.

The Cornerstone Bank offices will continue to operate under that name until the close of business March 20 and start operating as Summit Community Bank Inc. branches March 23.

Summit Community Bank is a subsidiary of Summit Financial Group.
