Kohl's partners with Fanatics to expand licensed sports merchandise offering

Kohl's Corp. said May 20 the company teamed up with Florida-based online licensed sportswear retailer Fanatics to expand its licensed sports merchandise offering.

Under an exclusive and long-term partnership, Kohl's will directly sell the new Fanatics products on its website, while Fanatics will fulfill the orders directly.

The products feature professional sports leagues such as NFL, NBA, NCAA, MLS and NHL.

The Wisconsin-based department store chain will start selling the new licensed sports gear such as jerseys, hats, collectibles and tailgating items on Kohls.com from fall 2019.

In January, retailer giant Walmart Inc. also entered into a similar partnership deal with Fanatics to sell licensed sports merchandise on its website.
