A-Cap secures approval to delay construction at Letlhakane uranium project

A-Cap Energy Ltd. said Aug. 21 that the Botswanan Minister of Mineral Resources, Green Technology, and Energy Security approved the company's amendment to delay the start of the pre-construction and construction period of its Letlhakane uranium project with mining license 2016/16L by two years to Oct. 30, 2021.

The environmental impact statement for the project gained approval from the Botswanan department of environment affairs in May 2016.

In January, the company finalized its joint venture agreement with Blackham Resources Ltd. to earn a 75% interest in the latter's Wiluna cobalt and nickel project in Western Australia.
