Atlantic Grupa Q1 profit climbs 35.0% YOY

Atlantic Grupa d.d. said its normalized net income for the first quarter came to 10.09 kuna per share, a gain of 35.0% from 7.47 kuna per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 33.6 million kuna, an increase of 35.0% from 24.9 million kuna in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 2.9% from 2.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed on an annual basis to 1.17 billion kuna from 1.13 billion kuna, and total operating expenses grew from the prior-year period to 1.09 billion kuna from 1.05 billion kuna.

Reported net income rose 39.3% on an annual basis to 44.6 million kuna, or 13.37 kuna per share, from 32.0 million kuna, or 9.60 kuna per share.

As of April 29, US$1 was equivalent to 6.78 kuna.
