American Family Insurance has appointed Todd Fancher as digital transformation officer. In his new role, Fancher will oversee the American Family group's investments in technology such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and advanced analytics. Rich Steffen, who recently was sales strategy and support vice president for American Family, succeeds Fancher as president of American Family Life Insurance Co.
Frederick Mutual Insurance Co. has recruited Shad Collins as senior vice president and chief information officer. He will be based in Frederick, Md., The Insurance Journal reported. He most recently was managing partner and chief solutions officer for Digital Alchemy Solutions.
George Dufala Jr. is resigning as Kemper Corp.'s P&C division president, effective Dec. 29. Kemper is now looking for a replacement for Dufala.
Travelers Europe has appointed Nick Rnjak to lead Travelers Syndicate Management Ltd., its platform in the Lloyd's insurance market. Rnjak most recently was chief underwriting officer for Travelers Syndicate.
Ironshore Inc. has appointed Richard Yeoman branch executive for the Dallas region, effective in January 2018. Yeoman replaces Ben Johnson, who is pursuing a new opportunity within the organization. Previously, Yeoman was a commercial lines underwriting manager for Liberty Mutual's middle-market unit.
