Boston-based State Street Corp. appointed global heads for two of its trading platforms.

The company named Beverley Doherty global head of FX Connect and James Reilly global head of Currenex.

Doherty previously was COO and North American head of GlobalLink, State Street's suite of e-trading platforms.

Reilly most recently was global head of foreign exchange sales and trading at Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. He will report to David Newns, who was appointed global head of GlobalLink Execution Services.

The company also promoted Stephen Dispenza to global head of sales for Currenex from North American head of sales of the platform.
