South Africa-based African Bank Ltd. appointed Thabo Dloti chairperson and nonexecutive director of the board.

Dloti has served as a CEO for insurer Liberty Holdings Ltd., and co-founded investment holding company Sithega Holdings (Pty.) Ltd. in 2017.

Louisa Stephens, who coordinated the board's activities after former Chairperson Louis von Zeuner resigned July 31, 2018, continues to serve as a nonexecutive director of the board.
