Garden City Park, N.Y.-based Hanover Bancorp Inc. named Brian Finneran executive vice president and CFO, (Melville, N.Y.) Newsday reported July 24.

Finneran previously held the same post at Suffolk County National Bank of Riverhead. He takes over from Paul Hagan, who left in May.

Hanover, meanwhile, has plans to open a branch at its headquarters in Mineola, N.Y., in August, the report added.
