Spectrum Pharmaceuticals Inc. said it appointed Francois Lebel as chief medical officer, effective Nov. 5.

Most recently, Lebel served as the executive vice president of research and development and chief medical officer at ZIOPHARM Oncology Inc.

Henderson, Nev.-based Spectrum Pharmaceuticals is a biopharmaceutical company that develops and commercializes oncology and hematology drug products.
