High-grade gold continuity confirmed at West African's M1 South prospect with 349.15 g/t hit

West African ResourcesLtd. said March 30 that reverse circulation drilling at the M1 Southprospect, within the Tanloukagold project in Burkina Faso, returned up to 1 meter at 349.15 g/t of gold and 1meter at 113.98 g/t of gold.

The high-grade hits were within an intersect of 11 meters at43.44 g/t of gold from 76 meters and were located 300 meters along strike from theearlier result of 534.45 g/t of gold.

Drilling also returned 4 meters at 42.09 g/t of gold from 104meters, including 1 meter at 165.36 g/t of gold.

"New result confirms continuity of ultra-high grade goldmineralization at the M1 South prospect over at least [300 meters]," said ManagingDirector Richard Hyde.

Due to the "extremely" high grade results, West AfricanResources will review its feasibility and development options upon completion ofthe drilling program.

The program is currently finishing a second round of deeper drillingat M1 North, where 12 holes are awaiting assay results. A follow-up reverse circulationand diamond core program has been planned for M1 South, which will start soon.
