Greentown China Holdings to raise $400M via securities issue

said March 31 that it inked a deal to raise $400 million through a securitiesissue.

Thecompany expects the net proceeds from the issue to be around $397 million afterexpenses.

Theclosing date of the issue is April 15, or a date agreed by the concernedparties that is no later than April 29. The proceeds will be used to refinanceexisting debts.

Theissue price will be 100% of the aggregate principal amount of the securities.

CreditSuisse Securities (Europe) Ltd. and The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corp.Ltd. are the joint global coordinators. Placing agents include UBS AG Hong KongBranch and the joint global coordinators.
