Fitch revises support ratings on 3 LatAm banks

Fitch Ratings on March 28 revised its support ratings on the Dominican Republic's Banco de Reservas de la República Dominicana Banco de Servicios Múltiples, Mexico's Banco del Bajío SA Institución de Banca Múltiple and Peru's Banco Interamericano de Finanzas SA to 3 from 4.

The support rating floor for all three banks was affirmed at BB-.

The revision of the support ratings, which does not reflect a change in Fitch's view of the banks' fundamental creditworthiness, follows the finalization of an exposure draft with respect to the rating agency's bank rating criteria.

The banks' issuer default ratings, viability ratings, national scale ratings and debt ratings remain unchanged, Fitch said.
