Connecticut's insurance regulator to depart

Connecticut Insurance Commissioner Katharine Wade will resign, effective Dec. 19.

Governor-elect Ned Lamont, who will take office Jan. 9, 2019, will hire Wade's successor. Connecticut Insurance Department Life & Health Director Paul Lombardo will serve as acting commissioner until Wade's permanent replacement is named.
