Western Midstream Partners LP named Michael Ure as president and CEO and Craig Collins as senior vice president and COO, effective Aug. 8.

Ure and Collins succeeded Robin Fielder and Gennifer Kelly, respectively, in connection with Occidental Petroleum Corp.'s recently completed acquisition of Anadarko Petroleum Corp., according to an Aug. 8 news release. Ure previously was Occidental's senior vice president for business development, while Collins was senior vice president and COO of the partnership's predecessor, Western Gas Partners LP, from 2017 to 2018.

The partnership also named Occidental Senior Vice President Glenn Vangolen as chairman of the board, effective immediately, replacing Benjamin Fink.

In addition, Marcia Backus, Peter Bennett, Oscar Brown, Jennifer Kirk and Ure were appointed to the board, replacing Daniel Brown, Robin Fielder, Robert Gwin, Mitchell Ingram and Amanda McMillian. Milton Carroll, the chairman of the special committee, elected to step down from the board.
