Boralex Inc. has placed in service its 20-MW Basse Thiérache Nord wind farm in the Aisne department of France.

The company entered a 15-year contract for difference for the wind farm with Electricité de France SA on Feb. 1 for tranche 1 and March 1 for tranche 2, according to a March 18 news release.

Boralex expects the wind farm to contribute €3.5 million, or C$5.3 million, to its annualized adjusted EBITDA.

With the commissioning of the project, Boralex's capacity increases to 941 MW in France and 1,962 MW worldwide.
