PartnerRe CFO to step down

PartnerRe Ltd.said April 5 that Executive Vice President and CFO William Babcock is leaving thecompany to pursue other opportunities.

Babcock has served in that role at PartnerRe since October 2010.

Mario Bonaccorso will replace Babcock as CFO, subject to BermudaImmigration approval. Bonaccorso has resigned from his position as managing directorat EXOR SpA and from the PartnerRe board and will immediately assume responsibilityfor all of PartnerRe's financial operations and investments.

With his appointment, Bonaccorso joins PartnerRe's executivemanagement team and will be based at the company's main offices in Bermuda. Babcockwill remain as executive vice president through the summer to support Bonaccorsoduring the transition period.

Additionally, Charles Goldie, CEO PartnerRe Global, and MarvinPestcoe, CEO for life, health and strategic ventures, have been appointed to PartnerRe'sexecutive management team. PartnerRe North America President and CEO Tad Walker,and Executive Vice President and COO Laurie Desmet, will continue in their currentroles.

EXOR completedthe acquisition of PartnerRe in March.
