Carlsberg A/S on Aug. 8 raised its organic operating profit outlook for fiscal 2019 due to "strong financial performance" in the half-year period.
The Danish brewing company now expects high-single-digit percentage growth in organic operating profit for the full year, versus its previous guidance of mid-single-digit growth.
Carlsberg said organic net revenue increased by 4.2% in the fiscal first half of 2019, with organic total volume growth of 1.4% and strong operating margin improvement.
The brewer will release its half-year interim results on Aug. 15.
