NBCUniversal Media LLC's comedy streaming service Seeso is closing down "later this year," the service disclosed on its Facebook page.
"We’re writing to let you know that later this year, Seeso will be shutting its comedy doors. Though we will be departing, much of our comedy will live on - and some of your favorite Seeso Originals have already found a new home," the service disclosed on its Facebook page.
Seeso, which went live in January 2016, is shifting some of its original content, including "HarmonQuest," "My Brother and Me" and "The Cyanide and Happiness Show," to Ellation-owned anime, gaming and comedy platform VRV. Seeso will disclose further information, including where viewers can access other Seeso originals like upcoming "There's…Johnny!" in the future, according to the Aug. 9 post.
