Singapore prime housing estate hits collective sale market for S$163.5M

The Trendale Tower located in the Cairnhill area bordering Singapore's prime Orchard Road shopping district has been placed on sale in the en bloc market for S$163.5 million, according to The (Singapore) Business Times.

The reserve price for the 20-level freehold condominium, which contains 18 apartments spanning 298 square meters respectively, reflects a land rate of S$2,250 per square foot per plot ratio over a gross floor area measuring 72,690 square feet.

Savills Singapore, which is marketing the sale, was quoted in the May 16 report as saying the estate's breakeven price is roughly S$3,000 per square foot.

The 2,016.8-square-meter site has been zoned for residential purposes at a gross plot ratio of 2.8, with a building rising up to a maximum of 36 floors with an allowable gross floor area of 6,753.2 square meters able to be constructed on the premises.
