Makena acquires 1,940-hectare gold-prospective property in British Columbia

Makena Resources Inc. agreed to acquire Barker Cariboo Gold Corp., a private company that holds 1,940 hectares of gold-prospective land in central British Columbia.

The company said Dec. 21 that consideration comprises C$15,000 in cash and 2.3 million shares, noting that the property is adjacent to Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd.'s preproduction-stage Cariboo gold property.
