First Data launches secondary common stock offering

First Data Corp. launched an underwritten secondary offering of 64 million shares of its class A common stock by selling shareholder New Omaha Holdings LP.

The selling shareholder will receive all of the proceeds from the offering. It also granted underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 9.6 million class A common shares.

Citigroup, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, PNC Capital Markets LLC, Wells Fargo Securities, Deutsche Bank Securities and KKR Capital Markets are the joint book-running managers for the offering.
