Globex Mining EnterprisesInc. said April 27 that it has staked 40 claims over a strike lengthof 10 kilometers in Nova Scotia.
Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources personnel discovereda beryl-rich pegmatite on the property in 1999, which returned anomalous amountsof beryllium, caesium, lithium, tantalum and rubidium.
Stripping in 2010 identified a 16-meter-wide pegmatite that assayedup to 0.53% lithium and up to 0.11% beryllium.
These results, however, have not been confirmed by the company.
